What is happening during Premiere:

DC on Film Row: local Oklahoma artist Jimi Wimmi, graffiti art by Robert Levering, music by Kyle Crow, and a Christmas “adoption drive”
Individual Artists of Oklahoma: The Company You Keep and the Red State Project

KOSU Radio: Partnering with The Spy to invite patrons to stop in and record their best holiday greeting for possible broadcast on Uniquely Oklahoma 91.7 and kosu.org. Visitors can also sign up for their chance to win gift certificates to two of Film Row’s best restaurants — Joey’s Pizzeria and The Paramount OKC.

We perform our all tuba tribute to King Crimson this Friday at 7. Unless we don’t learn to play the tubas by then. In that case we will play folk songs. Come fill your bodies with hot caffeine, and we will pour music in your ears.

Dave Jacke, co-author of the award-winning Edible Forest Garden books speaks on how a forest-mimicking garden allows us to meet our own needs and regenerate healthy ecosystems at the same time. Free and open to the public, this introductory talk provides an overview of the forest gardening vision and a few living examples, then dives deep into the essence, spinning out some of the broader implications of ecological design science for human culture design. Organized and hosted by CommonWealth Urban Farms http://commonwealthurbanfarms.com/workshop/ and Closer to Earth Youth Gardens. Join the Myriad Gardens and Schlegel Bicycles as we meet and ride from the Gardens Bandshell on a full moon route through downtown Oklahoma City. Ride will last about an hour and will proceed at a leisurely pace. Helmets and lights required to ride.

Suggested donation $5 per rider

Meet at 8pm, ride at 8:30pm

“The Devon Ice Rink returns for its 3rd season in the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Join us for another great winter of outdoor ice skating at Downtown in December’s premier attraction.

Open 7 days a week, the Devon Ice Rink hosts daily public skating, private parties, and special events all winter long. Join us on Friday nights for Rock ‘n’ Skate with a live DJ from 6 – 9 p.m. Food and drink will be served outdoors at the rink throughout the season. In early December,  or you can dine indoors at the new Park House restaurant, 7 days a week for lunch or dinner (opening early December).

Rates

$10 per person for all ages (includes skates). $7 for guests who bring their own skates.
For 10 or more guests, $7 per person (includes skates).
