Offering significant awards and support to artists, the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition’s (OVAC) Art 365 exhibition challenges local artists to create new, innovative artwork. Five artists each receive $12,000 and one year of curatorial guidance in preparation for an exhibition at [ArtSpace] at Untitled in Oklahoma City February 28-May 10, 2014. The public is invited to experience these ambitious projects at the opening reception of Art 365 on Friday, February 28, 5-8 pm. Admission is free.
The artists are Bryan Cook, Cathleen Faubert, Eyakem Gulilat, Alexandra Knox and Romy Owens. Raechell Smith, chief curator and founding director of the H&R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute serves as guest curator.
