Norman Arts Council is excited to announce that the closing reception for Noise Makers — the group exhibition studying the relationship between music and visual art — will feature a special acoustic duo performance by Cameron Neal (of Horse Thief) and Josh Hogsett (Tallows), along with electronic artist P L S T K N O V A. The closing reception is planned for 6 to 10 p.m. with live music beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Noise Makers artists Chad Mount and Justin Camilli have creative ties to Horse Thief and Tallows respectively. Chad Mount designed the cover art for Horse Thief’s debut EP Grow Deep, Grow Wild, while Justin Camilli’s illustration for Tallows’ debut album Memory Marrow is currently on display as a part of the exhibit. Matt Goad, Denny Schmickle and Aaron Whisner also have work featured in Noise Makers, along with a special audio-visual installation/single premiere from Norman noise pop band Depth & Current.
