Mixology is a brand new event in OKC. Conceived by a group of people from a variety of backgrounds in the performing arts, the event aims to give Oklahomans access to a multitude of artists as well as fostering the development of this growing community. Guests will be able to buy cocktails and watch one of many performances happening simultaneously through out City Arts Center.
Don’t get one particular act? No worries. At Mixology migrating from space-to-space to check out what’s going is encouraged as the event is designed so that audiences can sample what this eclectic group Oklahoma performance artists have to offer. You can expect to see contemporary dance, live music, improvisational (improv) comedy theatre, traditional African-based music and dance, conceptual theatre, and audience interaction. Tickets are the same price online as at the door: $10. The event runs May 11 from 7pm-11pm at the City Arts Center in OKC.
But you don’t have to take our word for, watch our Spotlight Video below as Raychel Winstead explains what Mixology is.
