Kyle Reid builds cigar box guitars, writes contemporary gypsy jazz and New Orleans swing tunes, and sings with the smoothness of bourbon and the abandon of a wildfire. Tunes from his recent release “Sawdust in my Bed” have been featured on KGOU’s “The Weekend Blues” and KOSU’s “Oklahoma Rock Show.” Kyle Reid’s full band performances with “the Low Swingin’ Chariots” are full of musicianship and showmanship, his solo performances are intimate and inspired. Opening for Kyle will be Kierston White, who is often found leading Tequila Songbirds, a collaboration of women singers whose membership includes some of the most esteemed singer songwriters in our state. But this night, we get her all to ourselves.
